Deity S-Mic 2 Shotgun Microphone
Deity S-Mic 2 Shotgun Microphone
The S-MIC 2 Shotgun Microphone from Deity Microphones features a super-cardioid polar pattern, a low noise floor, and an all-brass body with a gold-coated PCB (printed circuit board). It can be used to capture audio for video and interview applications.
The PCB is sprayed and coated with clear epoxy to perform without issues even in the most humid environments. This coating gives the microphone a water resistance level that allows it to work in the rain without being damaged. The microphone is powered with 24 or 48V phantom power and is equipped with a 3-pin XLR output connector.
Additionally, a foam windscreen, a microphone stand clip with a threaded 3/8" female mount, and a waterproof hard case with custom cut-foam insert are included.
