This kit can be used to capture audio in outdoor/indoor environments and is suitable for video or interview applications.
The S-Mic 2 super-cardioid shotgun microphone features a low-noise floor and an all-brass body with a gold-coated PCB (printed circuit board). The PCB is sprayed and coated with clear epoxy to perform without issues even in the most humid environments. This coating gives the microphone a water resistance level that allows it to work in the rain without being damaged. The microphone is powered with 24 or 48V phantom power and is equipped with a 3-pin XLR output connector.
