This 48Wh IDX 14.4V Li-Ion Battery for Sony BP-U Mount Cameras provides power for your Sony FS7, FS5, and PMW-series cameras. It incorporates a USB port and D-Tap Advanced power port which can be used for powering your accessories. A four-LED gauge indicates the charge state of your battery. The battery's internal circuitry provides over-charge, over-discharge, and high load overcurrent protection.

The D-Tap Advanced port is compatible with D-Tap plugs for power output. However, with a compatible charger (not included), you can charge the battery via the D-Tap Advanced port.
The USB output port is not a data port and is only for power. It provides 5V at 2.3A. It is an A-type connector and becomes active when you push and hold the CHECK/USB ON button for longer than three seconds. It will turn off once the cable has been removed or no power has been drawn for more than 30 minutes.
